The P-Vac has been designed as a compact, flexible and portable liquid waste disposal system
The unit’s small footprint makes it ideal for the laboratory bench or laminar hood
It has been designed to accommodate a variety of collection vessels including bottle top aspirating filter units, plastic vacuum bottles, glass Erlenmeyer flasks, or any device that accepts vacuum
The rechargeable lithium ion battery allows for use where an inline vacuum source is not available, outside of the laboratory setting where a vacuum is required, or when the sample being aspirated is too dangerous for the house vacuum
The P-Vac system is supplied with a .45um hydrophobic vacuum filter, silicone connection tubing, HandE-Vac hand operator with single channel pipette tip adapter and a universal main adapter
The P-Vac can be operated with bottle top aspirators, or any glass or plastic bottles up to 2 liters
Unit is supplied with a quiet, adjustable diaphragm pump
System can empty a 2 liter container in 40 seconds with an aspirating pipette
