The Thermo Scientific Savant SPD1010 and SPD2010 SpeedVac Concentrators redefine general-purpose vacuum concentration. These innovative concentrator systems are capable of supporting multiple users and a number of protocols in continuous operation. Specialized requirements including those of biomolecular research laboratories are met by the reliable and hassle-free operation of these concentrators. These Savant SpeedVac concentrators also support the quick and efficient concentration of both aqueous and mild organic solvent-based samples for biomolecular research applications.
The SPD1010 and SPD2010 concentrators are versatile and low-maintenance systems that are designed for research, hospital and life science laboratory applications.
Simple and Economical Design
These SpeedVac concentrators are fully integrated and easy to use. Maintaining each unit is hassle-free as well. The all-in-one design allows SPD1010 and SPD2010 units to save on bench space, combining a concentrator, pump and cold trap within each stand-alone unit. Both models can easily fit inside a standard fume hood.
Superior Versatility
SpeedVac SPD1010 and SPD2010 concentrators are available in two capacity ranges to accommodate high and low-volume processing. Over 50 rotors are compatible with these models. Accepted sample formats include tubes, vials, microplates and large-volume flasks.
A 4-position block rotor enhances the versatility of the SPD2010 concentrator. The model can be fitted with any of the 25 suitable rotor blocks. Users can equip both systems with a chemical trap to concentrate oligonucleotides and radioactive samples.
