Patented isothermal LN₂ jacket technology
CBS Isothermal Freezers use a patented liquid nitrogen jacket to deliver uniform storage temperatures in the -190°C range. Instead of storing samples directly in liquid nitrogen, LN₂ is contained in the freezer wall, creating a dry storage space that helps protect samples and users.
No liquid nitrogen contact
The dry-vapour design helps eliminate risks associated with traditional liquid phase storage, including cross-contamination through liquid nitrogen, vial shrinkage and potential exposure of users to LN₂ splashing when retrieving racks and samples.
Superior sample protection
The isothermal design supports excellent temperature uniformity from top to bottom, allowing the full storage capacity to be used with confidence. This makes the V-1500AB-ST suitable for high-value samples requiring stable long-term cryogenic preservation.
